Description

  Beautiful

Aegidius Klotz violin original in all of its parts including the bass

bar! In a remarkably fine state of preservation for a 225 year

old violin. See condition report below. This violin was put on sale in a school in London that had possession of the instrument for over 120 years. I bought it while in London. An

authentic Aegidius Klotz violin is a wonderful instrument, easy to play, responsive, sonorous tone, and this

one is really special! Without a certificate from one of the two world

Klotz experts, you really don't know what you have. The two experts are Hieronymus Köstler in Stuttgart and Benjamin Schröder in Frankfurt. LOB 355 mmThe violin had the following done: Reset neck - 750.00New nut - 35.00Bush all peg holes - 200.00New pegs - 140.00Bush end pin hole - 50.00New end pin - 25.00New bridge - 140.00New strings -  60.00Clean and glue upper ribsTo upper block - 75.00Total -1825.00You can discuss the violin with James Banicki Violins in Essex Vermont as he did the work. Ginidin market price. The

violin is currently in Vermont, USA, and will ship from the USA.

dollars of coverage. I never ship without insurance!I

insurance cost. If you want to fly to Essex Vermont, note that it is

only three hours by car from Boston, give me a head's up. If you are a domestic buyer, you pay nothing

for the shipping. It costs me three-hundred dollars for every ten

thousand dollars of insurance. You pay for the insurance. I pay for the

packing, crating, and shipping by courier. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Will consider a trade or trade plus cash (from me to you or from you to

me) for the right bow. Looking for a Persois, J. Eury, E. Pajeot, D.

Peccatte, FX Tourte, Joseph Henry, Vtor Fetique (gold
