　　Mitch is a cute little Shih Tzu mix that came to our rescue due to his owners being unable to care for him any longer. He was in rough shape at first and needed a grooming badly. Since arriving he has been groomed, updated on rabies and distemper vaccines, current on flea/tick preventative, microchipped and neutered. He also was tested for heartworm which was negative and is now current on preventatives. He can be very sweet but can also play a little rough. He came in with a few other dogs and was definitely the alpha over the group of 4. Therefore he would probably do best in a home with no small children and also would do better with female dogs..
