My story

　　Missy & Muffin are 10 year old shihtzu mix females. They are both spayed, current on vaccines & microchipped. Muffin weighs around 8lbs, Missy weighs around 11lbs.

　　Missy & Muffin found themselves in need of rescue after their dad passed away. No one in the family wanted to take over their care & a neighbor was actually feeding them for a while before anyone reached out for help. They were horribly matted & were very unsocialized. They are feeling so much better after their grooming! They are significantly lighter, can move without pain & are relaxing more as each day goes by.

　　They are looking for a calm, low-key home where they can retire together. They would do well in a home with older kids who understand boundaries. They have never been on a leash/harness to our knowledge so they will need to go to a home with a secured yard/patio to go potty. They are not housebroken & will need continued training. They are picked up & put outside on the patio currently to go potty. They don't mind being picked up but prefer 4 paws on the ground. They have been around other dogs with no real reaction, we are unsure about cats. They are by no means lap dogs right now, they truly prefer to blend in & observe.
