MISSISSIPPI MUD's story

　　Hello How nice of you to stop by to meet me. I am an 8 year old male and I came to PACC because my owner died. As you can imagine, that makes me sad. But I have such wonderful new friends here at PACC that I am ready to meet you and find my new home.

　　They are giving me some special opportunities here. I am in the Cat Pawsitive program, to help me learn new tricks and to be less shy. It`s a lot of fun and I learn very cool stuff.

　　I really like people and other cats. I am a bit shy, so I will probably hide when you come to meet me. I also am a jealous cat, so if you sit down and play with one of the other cats here in Tiger Cove, I will come out to see what`s going on. Then I will come over to check you out too.

　　Another way to become friends fast is to give me a treat. I like chicken, sardines, and tuna. But to tell you the truth, I LOVE LOVE LOVE sardines. Oh Yum. I will take those right out of your hand. Tuna is ok too and I also will take that from your hand. With those two, we will be best friends in no time at all.

　　So, are you coming to see me soon? I want to meet you and when you come in, I promise I will warm up to you. After you sit down, I will walk over to you-slowly-and let you gently pet my back. Or if you get one of those nice rakes, you can give me a butt scratch. Oh boy I am purring, just thinking about that.

　　I can`t wait to have you tell me about your home and what it`s like. Are there other cats? Other people? I think I will take a nap and dream about you.
