This is a beautiful antique mission library desk. It is unique in that it has a rectangular/oval top that measures approximately 42 wide by 27

　　deep. The desk stands 28

　　high with a center drawer that is 19

　　wide, 18 deep and has a depth of 2 .

　　It is constructed on four 2

　　square, solid oak legs. Solid oak is utilized in other areas or is used with quarter sawn, tiger oak veneer as seen on the desk top as well as the top edges and drawer face of the unit. The veneer is in good condition with the normal aging and patina you would expect of an item from this era.

　　On each side there are two suspended shelves measuring 21 x 10 providing ample room to store your favorite books while leaving plenty of leg room to accommodate a nice desk chair.
