Miss Marion's story

　　DOB: 2/28/17

　　Miss Marion has an intense gaze and will talk to you through her eyes. She loves to sit on your lap, your back, or whatever you would let her sit on, and, she will sit there for hours, but, she is not fond of being picked up. She's a little over a year old, and she can hold her own despite her tiny stature of only lbs 6. She makes good friends with both other kitties in the household and human caretakers and visitors.

　　Miss Marion was found dehydrated and lethargic in a parking lot in Culver City during a heat wave last year in October. She has been in foster care since November and recovered quickly after she got some human care.

　　Miss Marion needs some extra loving care due to a very sensitive skin. Her foster mom has been able to figure out some of her skin problems and her long beautiful fur is slowly growing back where she had been scratching herself so much so that she was bleeding and lost fur in places. To be on the safe side, it would be good to avoid chicken based food and instead feed her turkey based food. In addition, she has a severe reaction to flea bites and flea medication. There are natural alternatives to flea medication which has helped to eliminate the fleas on her body and in her foster home. The ideal adopter for Miss Marion would be someone who has the time and patience to give her a little extra love and care including weekly baths as this really helps her itchy and sensitive skin.
