Miss Magwai Noodles. Sassy and sweet! At My Fairy Dawg Mother. Mogwai was found on the streets of Houston. She had a thick collar around her neck. However, there were no tags or microchip indicating that she belonged to someone. But, the collar on around her neck told another story. As far as we can tell someone had Mogwai in their possession. But, for how long, we'll never know. But, it was long enough that she was severely emaciated and had not received enough nutrients to keep her coat intact. The City Shelter in Houston listed her as "pre-euth", meaning she was slated to die. because after all, who would want a starved, hairless dog that was on death's door!? It was by chance that we saw her picture. And her eyes called to us. We loved her the moment we saw her. In a combined effort we brought Miss Mogwai from Houston to Denver. Mogs, as we like to call her, has spent the last month recuperating. She's gained weight, started growing her coat back, and she's strong enough to play now. During this time that we have come to get to know her we have learned that she is a gentle soul. Regardless, of the abuse, neglect and torment that she has suffered, she still loves people! She is the best of friends with her canine foster brother and she adores the children that live in her home. Mogwai's ideal family will understand that she will need time to adjust and build trust. They will have a fenced back yard for her to run and play in. This perfect clan might have another dawg and a couple of kids too! They will bring Mogs into their lives and show her that humans are loving peaceful creatures that will always provide for her.
