Miss Charlie is an adorable dollop of Chocolate Lab! This very cute little English Lab is about 58ish pounds and a delightful eight years old.
After a lifetime with her family, she was left at a shelter when a baby came along.
Charlie is a lovely guest in her foster home. She is house trained, knows some basic commands
sit, down and shake
and will bring you her leash when its time for a walk!
She walks well on an Easy Walk harness, is a quiet car companion and a polite greeter.
Charlie loves to sit by you as you rub her ears and pet her soft chocolate coat.
I just want to be your buddy! she wags.
Shes a playful pup who loves everyone big and small, gets along well with good-natured dogs and is even a friend to cats. I love toys, walks and car rides, too! she wags.
Charlie, with her classic Lab loving and pleasantly active personality, has been irreversibly blind since birth. The cause, according to our veterinary ophthalmologist, is likely an inherited genetic condition. Charlie has traded company with her painful, sightless eyes for a very endearing and comfortable double wink.
Her foster mom tells us: Charlie is very smart and mapped our house and yard in no time.
She is a pup who is definitely curious about her surroundings. It is very impressive how she navigates using her nose and ears!
A home with no or few stairs and obstacles to negotiate will be best.
Shed prefer a family that is home more than away and makes her a big part of the family.
Id really like a canine brother or sister, too, she woofs.
Her foster mom adds:
She is the sweetest dog ever, easy going, never met a dog or person she didn't like, loves walks and puts herself to bed at 9 every night!
Happy, outgoing and very adaptable, Miss Charlie will help you see the world in a whole new and wonderful way!
