　　The mirror case is constructed of solid maple, a wood of light color however enduring hardness. The sculptural simpleness of the case, with its unhindered smooth surfaces and straight corners, permits the wood to emerge through a contemporary stain of pleasant colors. The water-based stain highlights the noticable grain tone variations of the sugar maple; on assessment the lively grain patterns are clearly noticeable. The wood is completed with over 10 layers of hand-sanded, water-based clear varnish to enhance the depth and clearness of the stained grains and to accentuate the pearl-like result of the maple.

　　The edge of the wood clasps a frame of hand-cut stained glass, which inclines at an oblige angle to arrive on the beveled edge of the mirror. In day light, the iridescent glass hints at the kaleidoscopic nature of life, as reflected by the large mirror. A strip of warm-light LEDs is recessed in a channel inside the entire border of the frame, forming a diffusion light-box that delivers completely even, uniform light with the stained glass. As sunset approaches, you turn on the internal lights by a remote control and set the brightness level as you prefer. The soft light discharges with the colored stained glass, brightening the mirror and surrounding things from within.

　　Consisted of is a power adapter and a dimmer managed, both housed in a rustic cedar box. The box is unpainted; you can paint it to match your dcor, or leave it as is. A cordless remote control is provided.

　　Offered is the mounting hardware for you to easily mount the mirror on a wall. Installation is straight forward just hang the mirror and plug it in. If you prefer, the low-voltage wire from the mirror can be run behind the wall for better looks.
