Mira's story

　　I'm Mira, a hound from New Mexico!

　　I came to the nice people at Arizona Beagle Rescue after I was dropped off at a shelter in New Mexico. Then, after I went to the vet to get shots (I don't like shots, but what kid does?), the people at the shelter said I was going to get to go for a ride. We rode for a really long time, and there were lots of new smells.

　　Now, I'm settled in my foster home where the other dogs in the house are teaching me manners. My foster mom and dad said I was never socialized when I was little, so they're teaching me now. People in the past weren't really nice to me, so it will take me some time to learn to trust people again.
