Minnie was found in an abandoned house alone without food or water. She is very thin but also very sweet and happy. She will be about 50 lbs when she is up to a healthy weight. She walks well on a leash, already knows how to sit and doesn't jump on people. She loves everyone and is great with dogs and children. Minnie is about a year old, 35 pounds, grey and white, and SO good-natured. Would you consider fostering Minnie while she gets her bearings and her weight up?
To foster, adopt, or meet up with our dogs, please fill out an application at the Northern California "Family Dog Rescue" website:
There you will get more information about a particular dog and learn about our San Francisco-based, non-profit rescue. If you fill out an adoption or foster questionnaire online, we will get back to you quickly. For general questions you still have AFTER visiting our site, please email us at the contact address you will find on our site. The volunteer who posts here does not handle adoptions, fosters, or questions involving that process. Thank you for your patience!
There are no fees to foster and we will provide you with support as needed, including food if requested, vet care, and we will be glad to respond to concerns on an ongoing basis. Fostering is really key to our ability to rescue dogs! You can play a vital role in socializing a dog so as to better his or her chances of finding a forever home.
The fee to adopt is on a sliding scale and generally includes spay/neuter, micro-chip and up to date shots.
