　　Age: about 5-6 years old

　　Breed/Weight/Coloring: Crickette is a Min Pin mixed with what we think is Applehead Chihuahua. She weighs about 3.7 lbs and is a teeny little thing. Her coloring is that of a min pin with the typical black & tan markings.

　　Rescue History: Crickette was dumped at the North Central Animal Shelter by her heartless owners for no good reason at all. She was originally adopted from the shelter as a tiny little bouncy puppy and sadly these people did not see pet adoption as a forever commitment. The day she was dumped turned out to be the best day of her life b/c we were able to rescue her and make sure she would never be abandoned again.

　　Personality: Crickette is a sweet, kind, submissive, and soft spoken little girl who enjoys the safety of her foster home and the security of being around the people she loves. She is in an excellent foster home where she is treated as a family member and one of the pack as she lives with several other dogs, big and small. Crickette is friends with all of her doggy foster siblings and plays nicely with each and every one of them. She resides with a big gentle lab who treats all the small dogs like her children. Crickette enjoys playing with little toys and batting them around (they are actually cat toys). Her signature move is to take her favorite dogbed by the mouth and move it to the warmest sunpatch in the yard for a comfy sunbathing nap. At night she snuggles up with her foster mom in her bed, often burrowing underneath the covers having at least one part of her body touching her human. She is a sensitive little girl who feels safe in her own environment with the people she knows and trusts. She is not a boisterous or barky girl, shes more on the quiet and shy side. She loves pillows and anything soft to curl up in a little ball. When its playtime, this little girl can run and boy, is she fast. Overall, this is one little pup who will enjoy being a pampered princess taking naps in your lap or carried around in the safety of her loved ones arms.

　　Medical: Crickette is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, and has recently had a thorough dental cleaning.

　　Would do best: Crickette would do best in an adult only home or a family with older kids due to her tiny size. She could live in an apartment with an outdoor area for potty and sunbathing or a house with a yard. Shed love a similar sized doggy friend to spend her days with but could easily be an only dog if her human was home more often than not.

　　Cats, Dogs, Kids: She is very friendly with everyone she meets but again, due to her tiny & fragile size we prefer older kids (teens and up). She gets along with all dogs of all sizes very well as well as cats, she currently lives with a Bengal.
