Mimi: Declawed (FCID# 04/30/218 - 82)'s story
Please extend you heart and home to Mimi (FCID# 04/30/2018 - 82). Mimi is a sweet, declawed senior cat, left to fend for herself. She is probably older than 15 years, most likely has cancer and is hospice. Mimi is with a foster, receiving lots of love. We are looking for someone who will give Mimi a home for the last few months/years of her life.
Here is Mimi's story: Mimi was found abandoned in a house that people had moved out of 3-4 weeks prior. She had lost a lot of weight, but her foster has brought her back to a healthy weight and stopped her from drinking out of toilets (obviously, the only water source she had while she was locked in the house). All Mimi wants is to sit with you and be petted all the time. She also closely guards her food bowl. We do not know how long Mimi has, but she is doing very well, and the foster thinks she has a lot of time left based upon the other hospice cats she has had from Forgotten Cats.
Mimi will do great with someone who is home all of the time and wants a cat to sit with them all of the time. She is NOT a lap cat. Mimi sits next to you. If you are sitting down, Mimi is right there with you. She is a big talker. Mimi needs to have her water bowl filled all the time, or she gets upset, same with her food bowl. Mimi tolerates other cats and dogs but really wants to be the only one getting attention.
Will you offer Mimi a safe, calm and loving home during her golden years? Please ask us more about her. Please submit a no-obligation adoption application, including FCID#, to meet Mimi: /application.php. Thank you! (Foster: Heather B.)
