My story

　　The all-around perfect dog!

　　Hi, friends! I’m a 3-year-old Shetland Sheepdog mix, weighing in at 18 pounds.  I’m a healthy boy, who is already house-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained.  Plus, I’ve already been neutered, to boot! After some leg issues, Mimba has been stable and comfortable with pain management for his right hind leg. He is currently taking Carprofen and Dasuquin. The cost of the Carprofen is ~$35.00 for a month a half supply, depending on market value. Dasuquin for Small Dogs costs ~$40.00 for 2 months for initial dosage and then less for maintenance dosage, depending on market value and where purchased. Mimba also is being treated for skin allergies and is taking Apoquel, which costs ~$75.00 a month, depending on market value. He also received Cytopoint injections as needed, which pricing varies by vet. Consideration of FHO in the future if lameness becomes more frequent or if pain is no longer well managed, and will be the responsibility of the adopter.

　　My foster mama calls me the perfect dog.  I’m a chill kind of guy, but energetic and active when it’s time to play.  I do great around people (both adults and kiddos), I’m well-trained, and I have no separation anxiety to speak of.  I love playing fetch, getting rubs, and eating treats!

　　I’d prefer a semi-active home with a family who could either work from home or be in the office.  Since I’m a dog-friendly type of guy, I think I would do fine with other doggie siblings.  Kitties are an unknown since I’ve never really been around them before.
