My story
Mr. Milton, the good boy!
Hey guys! I am Milton, and I am a perfect 3Â year old, male neutered Spaniel mix about 27Â lbs. I have had a bit of a ruff past. I was hit by a car in TJ and I laid there suffering for 6 hours.....till someone with a heart came along with a blanket, pillow and pizza. I was lucky to be rescued by TAP and thats when I discovered true love, at my foster home. The care has done me good and I have responded by being a good boy with pawfect bathroom, home-alone and leash manners. Just hold on to the leash when around birds. ;) I am working on muzzle training as my trauma has left me with a dislike of being carried or picked up. I like to have my space advocated for and to be respected.
I have an ocean of love in my heart and my sweetness with gentle demeanor has been making me friends with all the people that I meet. My foster grandpa's grumpiness also didnt prevent us from being buddies! (Foster mama's words I swear!). I am a wonderful cuddler and a delight for those holiday cuddles. I get the happy taps when it's mealtime and I bounce in circles! I am getting over crate anxiety by eating in there. I met a kiddo neighbor and she was adorable! But do hang on to your toddlers as I get jumpy-excited. I dont love dogs being up in my face since my shelter time, and I am leraning to ignor ethem on walks. But I'd rather be the only dog at home, really. I am on a weightloss journey and if one can take me on workouts, walks, runs, that will be great!
I would absolutely love any kind of family as long as there is plenty of love and cuddles! This guy needs to be spoilt with attention and snuggles when I solicit them. I am a mellow kinda guy, except the mealtime hops and walkie jumps. If you think you can be my pawfect family, we must meet up! My adoption fee is $300 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/
