My story
Oh hi....My name is Miley. I bet you can see in my picture there is a shepherd in my family tree somewhere! These tall pointed ear and expressive face are a dead give away for shepherds! My owner passed away and I was brought to the shelter by a family member because no one else could take me. I was sad to lose my owner, but I know the shelter will work very hard to find me a great new home. I am about ten months old and the shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I had a microchip, and that I was spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive. But I am not worried! The shelter will help me get through my medical treatment and on to a great new home! If you would like to donate to my treatment I know the shelter would sure appreciate it! If you would like to foster me through my treatment and then adopt me well that would be great! Oh one last thing....the folks at the shelter think I may be hearing impaired. I don't respond to noises or loud talking. So make sure you have a secure yard if you adopt me. I need to be in a safe environment so I can lead a full and active life with my new family!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Miley, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
