My story
No diva-like behavior here!Hi there! My name is Miley, and I’m a 2-year-old Boxer mix female, weighing in at 64 pounds. I was rescued in Mexico by TAP and have been chilling with my foster mama ever since. I am a proud distemper survivor, and because of that, I love to live life to the fullest! My health is in good shape now, but I do have a few dental needs that require regular maintenance. I have not yet been spayed.I’m happy to report that I’m house-trained, potty-trained, and leash-trained! Am I the total package or what? Something that I am working on, though, is my moderate separation anxiety. Though I’m not much of a barker, I will chew on household items out of frustration and boredom when you leave if I’m not properly exercised or given any treats or toys to play with. I am also able to escape a crate, so I’ve been working hard on building up time in my crate by myself and working on my anxiety. As far as personality goes, I’m an easy-going, loving gal who loves to be around people. My favorite activity is to go on long walks. I love being out and about and soaking up all the activity around me. I do great with other dogs and with older kids – preferably older than 5 years old – who can respect my space. I’ve never been around cats before, so I’m not sure how we’d act around each other.I’m loving and loyal, so I think I’d make a great family dog. I’d also do well with someone who lives on their own. Though I won’t come into your life like a wrecking ball, I will promise that I’ll be your best friend until the end! My adoption fee is $500 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1302543##
