My story

　　Meet Milena! She is a sweet little lady with the cutest, most distinct markings. This 3-4 year old girl is incredibly energetic! She acclimates quickly to whatever environment she is in—when brought to her foster home she jumped right out of her carrier confidently and made the room her own, with minimal hiding!She knows how to use the scratching post and is comfortable in a carrier (or at least, as comfortable as a cat can be). We’ve been working on teaching her commands like “come” and “down”, and she is learning quickly. Her favorite toys are a wand that looks like a mouse and a toy that looks like avocado toast. While we haven’t known her to fetch, she has lots of fun chasing things on her own terms.Milena would work best in a home with someone who can spend lots of time with her. She’s a sweet, affectionate cat who loves aggressive chin scratches and will plop into your lap if she trusts you. She’s so confident that you can hold a brush out for her and she will rub herself against it. (Hey, she knows what she likes!) While we don’t know how she would feel with other animals, she would certainly thrive in a busy home with a lot going on and we suspect she would love a cat friend. A home with large windows would be great, as she loves to look outside and observe nature.
