It?s as sturdy as you would expect, but does need some TLC. The fabric is original, but is a bit ?nubby? and could be replaced? think of the possibilities in recovering this beauty! In addition to the fabric, there are a couple of dings to the wood. The flaws to the wood are the only reason why I?m not asking more for the chair. If you know your Danish furniture manufacturers, you?ll recognize this particular D-Scan piece as a very popular item among vintage collectors. I believe this particular chair style was designed for D-Scan by Benny Linden! I absolutely adore this chair, but have too many other recovering/refurbishing projects right now.
