This framed Mid Century Modern oil painting on paper was painted by artist Charles Melohs and depicts late afternoon sunlight on roofs. The subject painted is simple, yet striking.

　　The painting is an original, signed by the artist and is estimated to be from the mid-1960s to early 1970s. The framed art measures 28" wide x 22" high x .75" thick and weighs approximately 7 lbs., 12 oz.. The wooden frame is painted black on the outside and gold on the inside trim with a simple linen border. The oil painting is secured between non-reflective glass and a paper board.

　　The paper on the painting has light warping around the edges. Frame has light scuffing/wear in spots and small dots of white paint on the side and trim. There is a small area of discoloration on the gold trim of the frame. The painting is signed.
