Mick's story
Mick -- My family called me Mick before they brought me here to this noisy, frightening shelter and left me. I guess I played so hard with the kids that sometime I would accidentally knock them down, and my owner was afraid I might accidentally harm them. I like to play, though, and I like to be petted. I don't like being frightened, though, or bullied, and as most dogs would do, I would probably protect myself if need be. My owner says I'm probably only about two years old, even though I might look older, and I am a medium sized boy...probably a terrier mix. I enjoyed being in the yard to have my photos taken, and I was really well behaved and playful. The man who took my photos knew just how to rub my back and scratch my ears, and that made me really relaxed....and even loved. That felt so good. The really bad thing is that my family gave me away to the nice people at the shelter because they didn't want me anymore, so now I don't have a family. I need a new family who will love me and understand me and be patient with me. I'll be a good boy! I promise to try my best to please you and make you happy if only you will give me a chance and take me home with you. Please come to the shelter and visit me. Take me out into the yard and play with me. If you think you might like to give me a chance, you can visit the shelter's website at https://limestonepets.org/ to submit an adoption application for me. I'm shedding my undercoat right now, so a good brushing would really make me look nice. To fill out an adoption application, go to http://limestonepets.org/adopt
