Extra Sturdy and extends far enough to work for a Bass Drum Mic, Floor Tom, or Hi Hat Mic. I have 3 Cymbal stands. (one single braced straight and 2 heavy duty double braced boom stands) the double braced stands are heavy duty enough to safely hang rack toms on.
