My story

　　Momma Mia is the sweetest little dog in the whole world...literally.  She weighs about 10-12lbs, and is about 1.5 - 2 years old.  Momma was dumped at a shelter in New Mexico just before giving birth.  Poor girl was neglected by her humans, never spayed, and when she got pregnant because of their neglagence, they gave up on her leaving her to die in a shelter.  We got her to Colorado 2 days before giving birth to 6 babies.  Unfortunately her labor was not easy and she almost didn't make it through.  She was hospitalized for over a week, and only 3 babies survived.  She had to have an emergency spay surgery due to an infection in her uterous.  Just another reason why you should always fix your dogs!It has now been a couple weeks and Mia has healed very well.  She is finally feeling herself again and is just the happiest, sweetest thing.  She loves to play with the fosters husky, and she does this thing where she smiles really big and shows her front teeth.  Some may think it looks like she's growling, but it's just smiles of pure joy...there is nothing cuter in this world.  Mia loves to snuggle during the day while her foster Momma works and is just such a good girl.  She is easy going and would do great with a family, individual, or couple.  She is just perfect, there is really no other way to put it. If you are interested in adopting the sweetest bundle of love to your family, please fill out our adoption application at brighterdaysdogrescue.com##1255418##
