My story
Mia is an 1-year-old female Shepherd mix who must be spayed before she is adopted. She was brought to the shelter by Animal Control after she was found abandoned at a local park. When Mia's owner did not come to reclaim her she became available for adoption. This girl has the black and brown coat that is classic for a German Shepherd with some white markings; and she is a very pretty girl! In fact, we think she is gorgeous. Mia weighs 44 pounds so she is considered to be a medium sized adult dog. She is sweet and friendly as can be! Mia is also very well behaved. Mia walks well on a leash and is so eager to please. This frisky girl does love to play outside so we know she would appreciate a nice fenced yard so she can exercise. She enjoys being around children and other dogs. This beautiful dog is so deserving of a new start on life with a wonderful adoptive family. We can't wait to see her dreams come true!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120 and cat/kitten adoption fees are $50. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, discounted spay/neuter certificate, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
