My story

　　Coming soon...This handsome guy is Meyer and he is estimated at 5 years old. He came from an abusive past and is excited to get his furever home.He is the happiest boy and aims to please. His tail is always wagging! He is good with other dogs, cats and children (including young kids)! He is a medium-energy guy and wants to play with other dogs. He is housebroken and crate trained. He has done well learning to walk on a leash but could use a little more leash training and a little more help with manners. But he is eager to learn and is treat motivated. He also travels well in the car. He loves to run in a fenced yard with a playmate. His future dog friend would need to be interested in playing with and spending time with a new friend because he enjoys the company of other dogs in the home (and laid back because Meyer can be a frequent sniffer). He doesn’t care for toys but may pick up the occasional stuffed animal or ball to carry around. But he finds comfort in making a bed out of our shoes or clothes (he sleeps with them but doesn’t chew them). He is on meds for chronic dry eye and will likely require eye meds for the rest of his life. Now that he is used to it, he is very good about letting us give him the medication. It will also take time for his hair to grow back in spots where a skin infection resulted in hair loss.
