Messi *NEEDS FOSTER*'s story

　　Meet Messi! Messi is around 3-years-old, currently weighs 53lbs and was transferred from a high-risk shelter in Texas, where he sadly ran out of time. Though he is very shy with people, he is grateful for his second chance at life. He jumps at initial petting, but does seem to enjoy it if you are nice and slow about it. He plays well with other dogs, and truly opens up much more around them! He is a sweet, calm boy who likes cozy blankets and seems to wait until he hits the grass to do his business. He will need someone patient and easy-going to be understanding of his shyness. We are not yet sure how he is with cats or kids. We so look forward to seeing his transform, we just need a family to give him a chance! As we get to know him, we will let you know. Spend time with Messi today!

　　Messi is in need of a foster or foster-to-adopt home due to being heartworm positive and soon to be going through treatment. This can be discussed upon inquiry.
