　　Hi! Im Mesa. Im an amazing female Cattle Dog mix (best guess) near 7 yrs old. Im really smart, I learn anything quickly and know many commands. Im a super sweet and happy girl. In fact my tail rarely stops wagging. I love being outside, patrolling the yard or sunbathing on the deck. But I can enjoy being inside, hanging with my person, leaning on her making sure she doesnt slack on the ear scratches. I have a lot of energy so I like playing ball in the yard. Walking on a leash is a bit of challenge because I dont get along with other dogs but I continue to work on this. In fact this is why my mom is so heartbroken that she must look for a new home for me. Her plan was always to be my forever home but I no longer get along with my doggie housemate, I have to be kept separate from him. We made strides in conditioning and impulse control with the help of professionals, but had to make the difficult decision that I need to be the only pet in the household. I shouldnt be with any other dogs, cats etc. Ive never been around children so the best home for me would have no small children. If I dont say so myself, Im a wonderful dog and I know I will thrive in the perfect home and will make a great companion to someone who is willing to take the time to build that forever bond.
