So many people are being MISLEAD to the Merle Huskies. Calling them rare Piebalds. making people think Wow that is an AWESOME color. These dog are NOT coming from TRUE HUSKY LINES.
The history is that merle genes DO NO run in the Siberian Husky breed. there these dogs were bred to another UNKNOWN breed that carries the merle genes. and were produced by a dog by the name of Twister. When someone who purchased a merle puppy Contacted AKC. A DNA profile did not match with the said father. AND THE SAID FATHER WAS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. The Merle huskies were discovered in Feb. 2011. out of Two kennels Cooperhead and Harley Paws. in a different state. Ark.
In 2011 Two dogs were purchased for $500 plus shipping. they shipped Tucson AZ. The breeder Robin T. lied to the buyers and didn't tell the buyers about the AKC papers being CONDITIONAL which means they got papers after the 3rd generation from the unknown dog in the pedigree. when the owner who purchased the dogs found out they gave the dogs away. so there are NO AKC PAPERS ON THAT FEMALE for the simple reasons is that STARR is NOT A PUREBRED.
The Offsprings are being passed off as PUREBRED DOGS WITH NO PAPERS. The person who has Starr now HAS LIED TO US, they got the dog for free under the agreement to SPAY HER.
Starr Does not match the AKC standards for the Siberian Husky breed
