My story

　　Megalodon is an approximately 9 year old domestic shorthair who was originally brought to us in July of 2022 with his brother Carmy. He was very cautious of humans at first and still is quite a shy boy but he's shown great progress in socializing! He is just a nervous and lovable guy who needs someone who will understand that he takes a little longer to come around and would need a very slow adjustment process to any new environment. His ideal home would be indoors and with someone who can give him scheduled feedings and help him get back to a healthier weight. While he does look adorable at his current 20+lb weight, it can start to take a toll on his health and joints if he doesn't lose at least 12lbs. He would also thrive better in a home with another cat as companionship is important for a shy boy like him. All he needs is a little confidence and once he gets that with you he LOVES chin scratches, head rubs and will show his appreciation by drool and soft love bites!If you are interested in meeting Megalodon, please submit an application at Valley Animal Center our mission is to unite dogs and cats with loving people.
