This boy would thrive in an active home with backyard play and daily walks! He is eager to please and redirects well. He has been through obedience training, so knows basic commands. Charlie is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and doesn't get up until his people are up and moving... no 5 am wake-up calls from this boy. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Health Notes | Healthy & Happy!Other Dogs | Charlie LOVES playing with the resident dogs in his foster home. He hasn't met a dog he doesn't like and would do well with another playful dog. Due to his love of all dogs, he does need some work when meeting other dogs on walks.Cats | Charlie has lived with cats since a small puppy, and currently has cats in his foster home. He so badly wants to play with them, and does try, even though they don't want to play with him in return! If he sees an outside cat, then the chase is on! Again, some puppy energy needs gently redirectedChildren | Charlie is great with kids and loves playing ball, frisbee, and running around the yard with older kids in his foster home. Training | Charlie has completed 2 puppy classes on basic obedience and is well behaved inside. He needs help with a proper introduction when meeting strangers and new dogs as he is still a puppy and gets excited, hoping to play with them. Nothing some gentle correction and a bit of effort from a family could not correct Leash | Needs some work on the leash. Activity Level | PUPPY level energy & would make a great running buddy for an active Coloradoan! Personality | Super sweet, happy-go-lucky boy. Charlie is eager to please and loves to be around his people.Story |Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $375 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $325 for 1-6 years, $275 for dogs 7-10 years, and $125 for 11+ years of age. To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process..Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption. We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We cannot guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.
