Maya's fosterer writes...
If you remember the nursery rhyme about Mary having a "little lamb" that followed her to school one day, you will be tickled by Maya's story. This friendly pup snuck in when she saw the door partially open and found herself in a school building surrounded by delighted children, "who laughed and played to see the dog at school!"
Maya, a sweet stray who now carries the name of the school she tiptoed into, lives up to this sweet, familiar rhyme. She is funny, playful and loves to romp around the yard with her four other canine housemates. She has no idea that she is not a tiny puppy anymore and will take any opportunity to snuggle in your lap.
Maya would love to see more of those laughing school aged children and kind adults again. She is very social and full of love. Won't you start your new year off with this adorable addition to your family?
