　　Maxwell is a male Shih Tzu approximately 3 years old.

　　He has a beautiful full and fluffy tricolor coat of white, gray and tan.

　　Maxwell has been professionally groomed and is non-shedding.

　　He is a calm, mellow, somewhat lazy gentleman who loves being petted and fussed over.

　　He gets a very amusing look on his face of total satisfaction when he is getting attention.

　　Maxwell is a big snuggle bear.

　　You can cuddle with him all day long and get your fill of puppy love.

　　He also has a playful, silly side which mostly consists of doing a happy dance for you (rather clumsy) when he sees you because he's so eager to please you and make you smile.

　　Maxwell has an endearing smile of his own that he will readily bestow on anyone who wants to fawn over him.

　　Maxwell is a wonderful, gentle, easygoing boy that is excellent inside the home and a fantastic companion.

　　He will walk on leash for short distances or he is also perfectly happy to poke around in the backyard for a while.

　　He likes the company of his people and will want to follow you from room to room and also have your company outside in the backyard while he does his business.

　　Maxwell rides very well in the car and has excellent manners in public.

　　He is very good with other dogs and with children.

　　He loves people above all else and so would be quite content as an only dog.

　　If there is another canine companion in the home, Maxwell prefers the quiet, mellow, lazy variety over a more boisterous doggie friend.

　　He is like a cat, lounging around in the most comfortable dog beds or sitting for treats.

　　He adores treats and will never turn down a tasty morsel.

　　Maxwell is very easy to love and his temperament is outstanding.

　　He was rescued from a high volume city shelter where he was brought in with a broken hip after being hit by a car.

　　He has since healed from his injury and is ready for adoption!

　　Maxwell is looking for his new forever loving home today.

　　Maxwells adoption donation is $525 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He will be NEUTERED and has been MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
