My story

　　Maxwell is his name - and playing is his game! Mr. Max is such a special, loving guy who was is seriously struggling in the shelter environment, he needs out ASAP! His previous foster said that Maxwell was such a loving and cuddly boy!

　　A little about him: Mr. Maxie Man is about 1.5 years old and weighs 75lbs! He doesn't think he's big though...he always wants to crawl in your lap for cuddles. Maxwell is outgoing & sweet, he also likes car rides, is not destructive in the home, and is potty trained, which is a big plus! He is food motivated and would be easy to train with additional commands, he already knows 'sit' really well. Since he's still a young guy, he has a lot of playful energy! We think he'd be a great running companion and if you have a ranch with a fenced in yard, even better! He's polite on the leash with the right harness. Max is great with people and would be an awesome family dog. He does need to be the only doggie in the home but he has 75lbs of love to give you! He's big and goofy and ready to meet YOU!

　　Adopting with High Country Humane means your pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (free!) and provide a free health exam as well with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5. Since Maxwell is such a special guy & a staff FAVORITE, his adoption fee is permanently WAIVED - $0!
