Maxine's story
SSPCA Foster Alumni!
In my foster home I was around other dogs but can be picky so I may do best with a slow introduction.
I don't have a history with cats but may do well with a proper introduction.
Due to my size, age, personality, I'm a better fit for homes with older children/adults
Very shy, 10+ pound Maxine needs a bit of time to feel safe with you. She is a calm, quiet girl who currently seems to prefer to stay curled up on her bed-her safe place. When she is first approached by strangers, she often hides her face. However, once she feels safe with you Maxine is very cuddly and wants to stay close to you. She needs a calm, quiet home with a lot of gentle, positive interaction to let her feel safe and for her personality to blossom. And if that home includes some spare socks, great!! It's reported that Maxine loves to cuddle and play with socks. [kc]
