My story

　　Hello, my name is Maxie! I bet you are wondering why a cute little gal like me is without a home! Well I am wondering the same thing! I was out on a lonely road in the county looking for food and safety. It was super scary all by myself! Well a car went driving by and evidently the driver saw me and knew I needed her help. After going past me, she stopped, got out of the car, and called me to her. She brought me to the shelter where I could safely wait for my family to claim me. No one ever came and now I am up for adoption. I am a four-month-old retriever mix. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One thing you may notice is that I am still a little underweight from my time on the road! I am sure I can "fatten up in my new home with all of the good food and treats I know I will get!!
