My story

　　Calling all Shar-Pei lovers! Max is ready for his forever home!

　　You might remember his story we shared with you when he came into our care. He's come such a long way since being found as a stray on someone's porch back in January - he was 37 lbs now 54! He's had a lot of time to recover in his foster home, but is ready to find his forever family! Enjoy going for a stroll? Max loves to go on walks! He's about 5 years old and so happy for a quick stroll or to snuggle up inside on a comfy bed!

　　Max is your typical shar-pei when it comes to people, a bit aloof at first. He prefers people who will give him space and ignore him so he can love you on his terms. Once he loves you though, you have a friend for life! Max is also dog and cat friendly! Living in home with male & female human,  2 cats, and 1 dog, but has had many doggie house guests also. His current little housemate has at times been not nice to him, but Max takes it all in stride! He would love a home with a social and sweet four legged friend.
