Mavic 3G Tri-Spoke Carbon Fiber Tubular Track Disc Front 700c Wheel Tufo S3 Pro Tire

　　This is a rare 700c Mavic 3G tri-spoke carbon front wheel (also configurable as rear), one of the fastest wheels ever made! (It was Chris Boardman's choice for his record-breaking track pursuit ride at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992.). As you can see from the photos, it has seen a lot of action on the track and has undergone repairs. Admittedly, some of it isn't pretty, but it's got character and more importantly, it's perfectly rideable and raceable.

　　The wheel has 3 profiled spokes with aluminum hub shell. It is configured as a front wheel (more below). Also included is a glued-on, used Tufo S3 Pro tubular / sew-up tire / tyre. And it has a computer magnet glued to the hub exterior. Total weight as shown:1.225 Kg.

　　The wheel uses interchangeable cartridge-hubs, a design that allows it to be configured for front or rear use. While extra hubs are NOT included with this wheel, you can buy them separately to turn it into a rear single speed, track wheel, or rear cassette.

　　While I have full confidence in the wheel and have ridden and raced it exactly as you see it, I must stress it is sold "as is". I have mentioned and shown repairs in the photos. If you have any doubts or concerns about the integrity of the wheel, this probably isn't the wheel you want.
