My story

　　Mavericks is a big loveable goon who wins the hearts of everyone he meets. He is about 7 years old but prances around the yard like a teenager. He is deaf and at least half blind, but that doesn't stop him from living his best life. He dances for walks, barks at the ground to scare off the squirrels in the trees, loves everyone, and is contagiously blissful. A little extra care needs to be taken around this pup when waking him up so as to not scare him, but he wants you to know he never means to bork at you and does his best to sniff first and arf second. Because of his size, weighing nearly 80lbs, and special needs, he would do best in a home without small children. He loves other dogs and ignores the resident cat. Mavericks is an easy-going lad who does swimmingly on leash and loves to sniff all the smells - be patient with him as this is how he learns about his environment. Though rainy days may be off-putting for some dogs, Mavericks LOVES the rain. He can be found on rainy days just laying in the yard, soaking up the good weather. Play time isn't dull with Mavericks, either! He loves a good game of tug and, as long as you throw the toy on his good side, will happily seek out and fetch his toy for you! He is a superb sleeper, couch snuggler, and does well when left home alone. Mavericks is a low to medium energy dog. What this means is, though he doesn't demand walks and play time, he adores them and keeps on prancing after even an hour of walking or romping in the yard.##1220073##
