Maverick's story

　　Hey everyone, my name's Maverick!

　　I'm a handsome young guy looking for his furever home! I'm a bit reserved around people I don't know, but with some time and patience (and treats!), I become quite an outgoing cat! I like gentle pets and I LOVE scratching sticks! I need to go to a calm, quiet household where I can come out of my shell and feel comfortable letting my great personality shine. Dogs and kids are too much for me, and I'd do best in a home with experienced cat owners who can take their time with me and help me see that the world is not such a scary place. I've lived with other cats before too so I might do well with another kitty friend if we're introduced slowly!
