My story

　　Mauricio Umansky is the perfectly family dog! He absolutely loves kids, he gently wiggles up to them and sits down in front of young kiddies on walks waiting for pats. He loves saying hi and playing with other dogs with his tail constantly wagging excited to meet new friends on every walk! He happily trots up to new people, eager to say hi! He is house-trained and learning new tricks every day! He's learning to sit and is on the way to understanding "paw."He is adorable, bubbly, gentle and loving. He's a seven energy level, with a few lovely long walk during the day and some fun time with a kong or his favorite chicken toy he is more than ready for cuddles on the couch and enjoying a night in.He's quiet. Unless he's left alone, he will let you know he misses you, but he's getting better at trusting you will come back.  Walking Manners: He's getting better every day walking. In familiar areas, he's close to your side, sniffing new smells and trotting along. His curiosity makes him pull a little bit in new areas, but when you remind him you're there, he slows down.He loves his breakfast and dinner and treats throughout the day but is good about not begging or stealing food from the dinner table once you set those boundaries. He likes to know you're still there so he'll sleep under the dining table with one paw on your foot to keep you close by & catch those crumbs! He gets a little bit of separation anxiety, making him a loyal shadow around the house until he's entirely comfortable to trust you're not leaving himHe loves meeting new people and sniffing new dogs. He absolutely adores the toy chicken that he sleeps with every night. He is the perfect addition to your family!  

　　ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
