My story

　　*NOTE FROM FOSTER*I found this very affectionate and young buff-colored stray male cat sleeping under an evergreen bush three months ago. He had no collar nor identification and no microchip. I took him to be neutered and he’s up-to-date on his FVRCP and rabies shots, flea and worm treated and is negative for feline leukemia and FIV.. The vet suggests he was about 8-9 months old on 10-15-21. He’s about 11-12 months old now and he weighs 10 pounds. I have been fostering him since I found him and am hoping to find a loving home. He gets along very well with my 70 pound dog. But I was not able to successfully introduce him to my 5 other cats because it is a bit too crowded in my townhome already! I’m hoping to find him a home that has no other cats. Perhaps later down the road a younger cat can be introduced, but for now I suggest he be the only cat in ones home. Maurice is super affectionate, playful and loves to purr & snuggle. He loves to watch birds and squirrels from my kitchen window for several hours each day.
