My story

　　Age: 2 years old

　　Gender: Female

　　Breed: Lab mix-Spayed

　　Weight: 38 lbs

　　Personality: Matzo is full of energy and incredibly loving! She likes to play with toys (particularly crinkle toys). She needs to run outside or go for a walk to burn off energy, but after that, she’s content to lounge around all day. She is happy to cuddle up next to you on the couch, and she gives kisses! Matzo is such the ultimate sweetheart. She is happy just to be around her family and rarely demands attention. She is trusting and quickly bonds with her people. She gets along great with other dogs and coexists with cats. She is very smart and a quick learner.

　　Education: This sweet girlie has picked up quickly on crate training and as well as sit/down. She’s on track with bathroom training and making great progress (although not at 100% quite yet). Matzo gets anxious around running/moving vehicles, particularly large vehicles or delivery trucks. She shies away from them and is on guard. She also doesn’t like loud construction noises (...does anyone?). She does not get any separation anxiety and is a pro on the leash!

　　Favorite Activities: Matzo love walks, playing fetch, tug-o-war, and chase in the yard with other doggos! She’s great with other pooches and coexists in peace with cats. She’s had limited experience with kids and was a bit timid at first– she would probably do well with older ones.

　　Looking for: Matzo would do great in a home with other dogs. She would most likely warm up to kids, though it would be best if they were older/calmer. She is used to having someone around most of the time, so would probably be best in a home where she has company, whether is it a human or another dog. She can be very excitable, especially first thing in the morning, but crashes in a bed the rest of the day, so she would just need a home where she could have daily walks and some playtime!
