Matilde's story

　　Are you looking for a sweet, calm, gentle and affectionate dog? Matilde is all that and more. Recently rescued from Mexico, she was pretty shy when she arrived at Muttopia, our shelter in Santa Rosa. But every day she comes out of her shell a little more as she's becoming more comfortable with all the new sights and sounds around her. Matilde has had some great day long outings with one of our volunteers who reports that Matilde has good house manners, she's smart and very eager to please her people. Matilde will bond quickly with her new family and she thrives on the attention and affection she receives. She's fine with other dogs and best with kids over 12. Matilde is such a lovely dog and with steady reassurance and continued exposure to the world around her, Matilde is ready to blossom.
