  Leslie:.

Yes, Sean is "Dead On" about the puppies. I possess "Chub's Baby Brother aka "T-Bone" from the 1st litter. 'T-bone" was actually the RUNT of the Litter ... However, U would NEVER "Know' it NOW. My Dog 'T-Bone" is "Fiercely LOYAL & & Protective" along with 'Always ENTERTAINING when He is in a "Playful Mood"... These Dogs are also "Extremely INTELLIGENT" ... So Be "prepared' to Be On your "toes" at all times. Have NOT BEEN dissatisfied in my decision EVER in getting my 1st "BANDOGGE" Breed ...!!!

  Leslie:.

He is an "American Bandogge produced byCaliforniaBandog Mastiff. U can take a look at the Pics in my Albums ... His father is "Guapo" from the (Land of the Giants PitBull Line) & & Momma is 'Mafana" a Bull Mastiff ... Bobby desired a "BIG DOG"... after we "lost" our Full Blue-nosed PitBull "Monakaeya" ... We Got Him from SF last Feb. 2011 today He has to do with 15 months old & & weighs about 125 lbs. & & stands about 6 foot when he "standing up" beside Bobby. 'T-Bone' is Bobby's Best Friend besides ME naturally ...!!! (Lol);p.

  Bandogge, Mastiff, APBT, Bandog.

Words "Bandogge" is the name for any Bulldog Type Mastiff breed. The Bandogge has an extremely prominent musculature and an angulation that offers the canine a extremely athletic and nimble

  appearance

. American Bandogges are not purebred dogs, in the way we understand words "purebred". Their origins is of American Pit Bull Terrier and Neapolitan Mastiff. There are some kennels who do produce Bandogs successfully in lots of generations, without including blood from other breeds, and have actually gained an uniform type.

In the late 1960's a veterinarian by the name of Swinford started a reproducing program which was eventually to produce the greatest of all protection dogs. Though breeders of Bandogges today disagree on just exactly what types entered into Swinford's initial breeding scheme, the general compromise is that it was 50 % American Pit Bull Terrier and 50 % large molosser.

The most typical method employed to produce a Bandogge is to cross a good video game male American Pit Bull Terrier with a large and strong

Neapolitan Mastiff female. Another somewhat common approach made use of in breeding the Bandogges is to cross an English Mastiff with an American Pit Bull Terrier. The American Canine Hybrid Club recognizes the American Bulldog crossed with a Mastiff as an American Bandogge.

The Designer Dogs Kennel Club acknowledges the American Bulldog crossed with the Mastiff as the American Masti-Bull. A comparable cross is the Pit Bull Terrier and the Bullmastiff cross, however this cross is not called Bandogges however rather a Pit Bullmastiff. The name Bandog was used in the old England by the Saxons and comes from words Banda,-a Saxon word for chain. It prevailed practice to tie the canine by day, and release him at night to allow him to bring out his guard duties.
