Martin's story
Six pounds of salt and pepper sweetness, mild mannered Martin lives to love and be loved. The former stray from New Mexico, now secure in his foster home, may be shy at first, but is soon friendlier than friendly and asking for snuggles and pets, scratches and belly rubs. Always happy, always wagging his tail, he's always excited to see his people and enjoys sitting in his foster mom's lap while she watches TV. Fond of the children and relaxed around the resident dogs and cats, he likes playing with the former while politely ignoring the latter. Having just discovered the joy of toys, he's extremely gentle with them, and being a well-behaved "gentleman" sports his sweater and belly band with doggy grace. Very good in his crate, at work on his housetraining, and with only two teeth in his mouth, he must, in his fur-ever home, be fed only soft food along with a steady diet of love.
