Marshall Bluesbreaker 2x12 Combination Reissue (model 1962) for sale $1599.00 (Cash Only). This is the amp made famous by Eric Clapton on the John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers (Beano Album).
This amp has actually been thoroughly gone through by DRocks Music Amp repair service. The speakers are: one Celestion Made in England Heritage series G12M 20 watt 15 ohm Greenback and one Celestion Made in England Heritage series G12H 30 watt 15 ohm Greenback. The 2 different speaker kinds complement each other effectively and are much more detailed and are more genuine to the initial building than the made in China Celestion variations.
The G12M made in England version has a sweet chimey noise when clean and is velvety smooth when overdriven. The G12H is slightly darker, more mid concentrated, and has tighter bass. As mentioned, they pair effectively with one another.
The tubes are reissue Tung-Sol 5881 power tubes and reissue Tung-Sol 12AX7 preamp tubes. Weber Copper Cap rectifierWZ34 (changes GZ34/5AR4). The tremolo result has been unplugged but can be rewired back if you desire. I am not truly crazy about Marshall Tremelo.
Output for this amp is around 30 watts. It will get plenty loud but is really convenient. It won't eliminate your ears like a 50 watt or 100 watt Marshall will. To me this is the essential Classic Rock and Blues Rock amplifier. The sound of the late 60s and very early 70s.
Remember this is a very heavy amplifier. When carrying, it does come with an ATA flight case with casters so that assists. Brand-new cost for the amp alone is $2499.00 and that version does not include the Made in England Heritage Celestion speakers. Unsure just how much additional a flight case would cost however it could perform at least $250. I am including the case as part of this offer.
Send me any concerns you might have. Thanks!
