Marla's story
Marla and her 4 kittens were found in an abandoned home - escaping in & out through a broken basement window. Thankfully, a Good Sam (named Marla) alerted us about these cats, and luckily, one of our volunteers were able to wrangle them. That was mid-May. Marla initially had an abscess on her face that was remedied by an antibiotic from the vet. She also had some hair loss on her belly that is attributed to stress.
Marla & her kittens are fostered in Marengo, OH. Her foster mom can't say enough positive things about Marla. She is sweet and friendly - it's hard to believe someone left her behind. We guess her to be just under 2 years old as of 6/23/18, & she weighs around 8 lbs. Marla would be a great addition to an awesome family.
MAWL's cats are spayed/neutered, leukemia/FIV-tested, dewormed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccines. The cats we offer for adoption are usually the offspring of feral cats or house cats that have been abandoned by their former owners. Unless otherwise noted, our cats are available to inside homes only. We prefer to adopt our animals to residents of Ohio. An adoption donation of $75.00 helps to cover the veterinary fees.
