This is a one owner, 40 year old Sterling silver Richard M. Nixon presidential mint julep cup. On the bottom is engraved: MARK J. SCEARCE, SHELBYVILLE KENTUCKY, an eagle with Nixon's initials RMN and the word STERLING. The cup has been displayed only, never used. It is 3 3/4" tall, 3 1/4" in diameter on top rim and 2 5/8" in diameter on bottom rim. There is an engraved decorative strip around the top and bottom rim. With a magnifying glass (or extremely good eyesight) the only damage to be found is a very tiny scrape near the bottom on one side and a tiny slight indenture on the bottom rim.
