My story

　　Hello, I am Marika! Boy oh boy! Am I glad to be sitting at the shelter in my big cage nibbling on some puppy chow! I was rescued by the guys of Animal Control! They were called out to the county where I was hanging around a house looking for food and shelter. After waiting at the shelter my allotted time I am now ready for adoption! I am a retriever/lab mix that is about four months old. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. Now before you come rushing to the shelter think about how much time I will take when you add me to your family. Will you have enough time to teach me everything I need to know as a young puppy? Will you be able to let me get the exercise I need? And will you be able to give me the love and attention I need to form that special bond a pet has with his family? If so then come on!
