*MARGARET's story

　　Margaret is soooooooo lovely. From her striking green eyes to her beautiful airbrushed gray stripes, Margaret is practically perfect in every way! Margaret loves to cuddle and is extremely tolerant of being held, handled, and dandled like a baby. Margaret is a friendly and sociable girl who enjoys interacting with people and will use your shoulders as a lookout point if given half a chance. Margaret is 11 years young and is looking for a loving forever home that can give her the affection and care that she deserves. Margaret has excellent litterbox skills, but needs a covered or tall-sided litterbox because she likes to pee standing to keep her toes dry! While at the shelter Margaret had bloodwork and a dental with extractions done. She will need to eat soft food until her mouth has healed, and her bloodwork revealed that she is in the ''grey-zone'' for hyperthyroidism, so her new family will need to watch Margaret for the symptoms of hyperthyroidism and have her bloodwork rechecked to see if her values have changed. If Margaret becomes hyperthyroid, the vet may prescribe treatment that will likely be lifelong.
